About Me
I am a retired United States Army Non-Commissioned Officer who served in the Vietnam war with the 101st Airborne Division. During my 20 year military career I was assigned to three different Army Marksmanship Units where I taught advanced marksmanship techniques to various military and law enforcement personnel. I finished my military career as an instructor at the 8th Infantry Division Non Commissioned Officer Academy in Baumholder Germany where I taught leadership and professional ethics to military students.
My civilian security career started when I began doing labor dispute security for a number of Fortune 500 companies as a security supervisor, evidence photographer, evidence coordinator, and executive protection specialist. I am a graduate of Vance International’s Executive Protection Course. A graduate of Sinclair Community College in Dayton Ohio, I have a Law Enforcement degree with a major in Industrial/Retail Security.
After spending 14 months in Kosovo supervising force protection personnel at US military bases, I then spent two years as a security supervisor at the United States Embassy in Kabul Afghanistan where I was responsible for supervising security and access control to both the embassy and the USAID compound. I finished my contract at the embassy as the site trainer responsible for the security training of the embassy guard force.
